In the days and weeks after Hurricane Sandy struck the East Coast of the United States, InfoComm International strained to get information from members in the hardest-hit communities. Many of those members — and their neighbours from all walks of life — are still struggling today. In an effort to help, InfoComm has donated $20,000 to the American Red Cross and urges others to contribute what they can.
InfoComm also established an online community on LinkedIn where AV companies can connect and share with each other information, resources, and encouragement.
Finally, InfoComm is planning a special Regional Roundtable for the New York-New Jersey area in the coming months that will focus specifically on business continuity issues in the aftermath of natural disasters.
