Over 200 First-time Exhibitors Join 2018 NAB Show

The NAB Show will again take over the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 7-12, 2018. Encompassing what organizers call The M.E.T. Effect, the convergence of media, entertainment, and technology, over 103,000 attendees and 1,800-plus exhibitors are expected from 160 countries.

There will be 244 first-time exhibitors, which will join a wide variety of exhibiting veterans on the nearly one million net square feet of space that make up the NAB Show exhibit floor. Examples of the debuting companies include Sohonet, Apalya Technologies Pvt., Qencode, Audinate, Backblaze, Densitron, LumaForge, Quantiphi, Inc, Red Bee Media, StreamShark, among others.

The 2018 NAB Show exhibition will comprise 1,700+ companies, including 819 international exhibitors and some of the world’s leading brands and companies, including Sony, Blackmagic, Canon, Nikon, Imagine, Panasonic, Cisco, Ericsson, Google, Facebook, IBM, Imagine, Grass Valley-A Belden Brand, Microsoft, Panasonic, AWS Elemental, Adobe, Avid and Sharp.

The NAB Show will debut two new events highlighting broadcast industry achievement. The NAB Achievement in Broadcasting Dinner will be held Monday, April 9th at the Encore Las Vegas. A separate NAB: We Are Broadcasters Celebration will be held Tuesday, April 10th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The events will shine a light on the broadcast industry, recognizing individuals and companies for their contributions in advancing the industry through technology, public service, and superior content.

Returning features include the Futures Park, which will have demonstrations of high-tech media developments in progress, prototypes, and products not yet available for sale, from academic, government, and commercial research laboratories in the United States and around the world. On the show floor, the Immersive Storytelling Pavilion will display of the most advanced companies paving the way for creation and commercialization of immersive content – whether virtual, mixed, or augmented.
