The 2020 NAMM Show to Boost Its Entertainment Technology Education; Debut New Entertainment Technology Showcase

At The 2020 NAMM Show, entertainment technology professionals will have plent of opportunity to network with their peers, discover the latest products, and develop their professional abilities. Once again, NAMM is working with ESTA, PLSN, FOH, Lighting&Sound America and PLASA to continue growing its educaitonal offerings in this area.

ESTA-Curated Sessions
ESTA is offering FIVE days of curated education at The 2020 NAMM Show, January 15–19, in Anaheim. Training tracks include Rigging, Lighting & Electrical, Safety, and Lighting Networking, with nearly all sessions qualifying attendees for free ETCP-renewal credits. New this year to ESTA’s Lighting & Electrical track is Richard Cadena’s two full-day electrical training course, produced in collaboration with NAMM and PLASA, which will run Wednesday and Thursday, January 15–16. Pro Production by PLSN & FOH
At The 2020 NAMM Show, Pro Production by PLSN & FOHA will return with a series of exciting sessions for entertainment technology professionals, presented by the publishers of Front of House, PLSN and Stage Directions.

Lighting&Sound America / PLASA
Richard Cadena of Lighting&Sound America and PLASA hosts several entertainment technology sessions, expanding your network and professional ability.

As well, the new Entertainment Technology Showcase will feature the latest products and side-by-side demos of the new innovations and brands in the event production world. With a dedicated lighting zone complete with dimmed overhead lights, attendees can explore and find new discoveries from rigging to video consoles.

The Designer Studio is the lighting designer’s home on The NAMM Show Campus, featuring support by ESTA and other key players in the lighting field. NAMM Show attendees can meet up and interact with the global lighting community, then attend one of five tracks of ESTA-curated training, most of which qualify them for free ETCP-renewal credits.
