IALD Awards Extend Deadline Due To Hurricane Sandy

The International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) has extended the final deadline for submissions for the 30th Annual IALD International Lighting Design Awards due to the widespread travel and business disruptions caused by Hurricane Sandy.

The new deadline is 11:59 p.m. Central Times on Wednesday, Nov. 7. Those interested are asked to submit completed, paid entries to the IALD. As well, the organization advises people enter their submissions as early as possible because of the increased traffic on the website in the days leading up to the deadline, which can cause the site to slowdown.

Meant to the showcase innovations and evolutions in lighting design, the IALD Awards is the oldest architectural lighting design show in the world.
