NATEAC 2021 to be Held Virtually

The North American Theatre Engineering and Architecture Conference (NATEAC) is being converted to a virtual event in July 2021.

Conference Director Bill Sapsis explains, “Uncertainty and risk remain in abundance and it would be extremely foolish for us to attempt a face-to-face meeting in July. The safety of our attendees, presenters, sponsors, and staff are paramount.”

NATEAC Production Manager Frances Thompson notes, “The past 10 months have shown that virtual conferences are possible, and given the right approach, can be successful. We’re working hard toward that goal.”

NATEAC plans to bring forward many of the presentations that were set for the July 2020 event. The current COVID-19 crisis, and the live entertainment industry’s response to it, will also be discussed.
