SFM to Distribute Pro Control Products in Canada as of Sept. 15

sfm-procontrol_september122016SFM has announced its appointment as a distributor of Pro Control for Canada. Pro Control is a division of Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI), which SFM also recently took on Canadian distribution for. Effective Sept. 15, 2016, SFM will be responsible for growing Pro Control in the residential, commercial AV, and hospitality markets throughout Canada.

“We’re excited to partner with SFM in Canada and the potential growth opportunities this new relationship will bring while furthering our commitment to serving our dealers,” says Mike Everett, VP of Sales and Marketing, Americas, for RTI and Pro Control. “SFM’s professional, customer-focused sales staff, marketing team, and service department will be a huge advantage to integrators — providing top-notch service and support.”

“We are thrilled to be working with Mike Everett and the entire Pro Control team in Canada,” adds Steven Freytag, GM of SFM’s Custom Installation division. “Pro Control’s sleek style and two-way control capabilities when combining the Pro24.z remote with the ProLink.z processor will be welcomed into homes across Canada. Pro Control provides us with product that can surpass anybody’s expectations in smart home solutions at the touch of a single button on a remote. Their ProPanel app also allows iOS devices to operate seamlessly with their products, an exciting feature we are looking forward to.”

SFM’s sales team and Technical Application Group will be receiving training in the coming weeks and will soon be able to assist dealers and integrators with all their Pro Control needs. “Our talented team, from the Inside Sales Representatives, to the Technical Application Group, to the in-house marketing department, to our feet-on-the-ground sales force, is eager to get started on working with Pro Control and our valued dealers and integrators,” says Freytag.
