SFM to Distribute Remote Technologies Inc. (RTI) in Canada

rtiSFM has announced its appointment as a distributor of Remote Technologies
Inc. (RTI) for Canada. The arrangement goes into effect on Sept. 15, 2016. RTI is a control systems manufacturer offering innovative and user-friendly devices for professionally installed electronic systems in the residential, commercial AV, and hospitality markets.

“We’re excited to partner with SFM in Canada and about the potential growth opportunities this new relationship will bring while furthering our commitment to serving our dealers,” says Mike Everett, VP of Sales and Marketing, Americas, for RTI and Pro Control. “SFM’s professional, customer-focused sales staff, marketing team, and service department will be a huge advantage to integrators — providing top-notch service and support.”

“RTI not only represents quality product but also quality people which is important to everyone here at SFM. We are proud to have been selected as their distributor. We look forward to working closely with Mike Everett and the entire RTI team to grow the brand in Canada,” says Steven Freytag, GM of SFM’s Custom Installation division. “RTI will be a primary focus for our team as the brand integrates well with many of our existing brands. We also love the fact that the drivers for many of these brands are readily available through the dealer section of the RTI website. RTI provides us with product that can control today’s complex home automation and commercial AV systems,” continues Freytag.

SFM’s Technical Application Group will be receiving training in the coming weeks and will soon be able to assist dealers and integrators with system design and authentication; furthermore, dealers and integrators will now have access to service in Canada as SFM will act as the RTI service department for all RTI products sold by SFM.
