Following its completed purchase of Midnight Hour Productions (MHP) in November, Solotech has officially moved into the MHP warehouse facility in Toronto. As previously reposted,  Midnite Hour’s founders, Marty Anderson and Louis Racine, as well as all of their employees will now be part of the larger Solotech team. The facility is located at 324 Horner Ave. in Toronto.

MHP has served clients such as WeDay, Much Music, Luminato and The Bare Naked Ladies, provideing scenic and video services for live events, concerts, television specials, and corporate galas. The company also offers video presentation and processing, LED lighting, scenic products, audio equipment, soft goods rentals, and services.

“Solotech plans to use the Toronto operation as a full service centre for Toronto and the rest of Ontario. Of course, we are working on ways to offer local service in some of the other important cities in Ontario,” Solotech GM of Corporate Development, Ron Morissette, tells PL&P. “The addition of the talented individuals that were part of the MHP team as well as the Toronto based staff that we will be adding to both the Integration and Rentals division will allow us to serve clients in the GTA with a full range of audio, lighting, video and rigging services directly from a large inventory that will be kept in Toronto… Solotech is taking over all of the current MHP warehouse. The Integration team is now housed in the Horner Street facility, as well. We have just rented an additional warehouse about 10 minutes away to allow for more space for project fit-up and more equipment storage.”
