Theatrixx Wins LDI Award for the xVision Converter

theatrixx-awardMontreal-based AV distributor and manufacturer, Theatrixx, picked up an award at the recent LDI Show in Las Vegas for the new xVision Converter in the widget best debuting product category. The award was accepted by Theatrixx Preident Jacques Tessier and Gabriel Duschinsky, CTO.

The award represents the company’s second recognition from the LDI organization. In 2013, the organization was awarded best debuting product in the rigging category for its xVision Channel Truss. The company says the xVision Video Converter represents a new take on a popular device. The xVision Video Converter is the first video converter specifically designed for the harsh environment of rental and staging, touring, A/V presentations, and broadcast, and offer unique features such a built-in AC power supply, built-in convenience outlet, magnetic stacking system and many rigging options.

‘‘There is no such thing as a professional wallwart,” said Duschinsky in his acceptance speech about his company.

Theatrixx Technologies manufactures products under the xVision, xFocus and Theatrixx brands. The company also distributes in Canada professional video equipment from Analog Way, professional lighting equipment from High End Systems, Ayrton, J.B. Lighting, ChamSys, The Light Source and Visual Productions.
